How Hood Got Started
Hood was founded in 1992 as Hood Technical
Consultants Ltd. based in Edmonton.
The company offered technical support to area plants. The first project that Hood
obtained was a small drafting project providing pipe fabrication drawings. This client is still utilizing
Hood’s services, 12 years later.
In 1998, Hood Engineering was created with an office
based in Calgary. Hood
Engineering specialized in natural gas, gas liquids, and oil process systems. Hood Environmental and Hood
Construction Management were added in 2001 to form the basis for the Hood Group of
Companies. Together, the Hood Group of Companies (Hood Tech, Hood
Engineering, Hood Construction Management and Hood Environmental) evolved in what today is
known simply as Hood Group. Having
such a varied expertise within its company allows Hood to offer complete solutions to its
clients. Hood will continue to change but the one constant that will not
vary is its forward direction to maintain & build its client relationships. We have
the experience, people and diversity of services to achieve this and we are committed to
building a relationship with our clients that allows us to put these qualities to work for
them. |
